Sterling 830 Silver Tablespoon by Just Andersen (1884 - 1943) of Denmark (7.75")
$100.00
Fine Danish sterling silver tablespoon. Condition is fine with no damage as shown. Reserved and classic lines. Nicely hallmarked on the obverse of stem and with maker's mark of I B Andersen and 830S.
This is a fascinating spoon that mirrors the lines and designs of 18th century English spoons. It has the feather edge design and hand chased accents. Here's the really unusual part about this spoon-- and I've never seen this done before. The stem which is very thick, is actually hollow!! Nice monogram in a medallion at the terminal
