MCM 1960's Frosted Glass and Chrome Recessed Fixture 'TIME'

$120.00
Frosted glass and chrome MCM hardwired light fixture features incredible and legit styling that is very hard to find for historic renovations or for repair. Could be ceiling or wall mounted and has a door which shuts closed on hinges and holds together on tension for easy bulb replacement. It has fabulous shape and style. I pulled this light out from the basement of a DC-area estate. Great sleek and modern design. Someone applied a decal to the front that says 'TIME'. It's nearly perfect so who am I to remove it? You can and it'll be that perfectly sterile chrome fixture you've been looking for. With the right bulb it produces the mellowest golden glow. Glass s gorgeous. Condition is good, but chrome has scratches. You could have it rechromed if you need it mint. PS: Light doesn't have a short.. Just demonstrating how it fades in and out with a nice Edison bulb in the video. NOTE: we recommend rewiring antique lamps and or replacing the socket before use. Your purchase implies that you understand that antique electrical products may represent a a safety risk and that you should have the product made safe by a professional before use. DC Silver takes no responsibility or other liability for fire, death or other injuries should you fail to make this decorative antique item safe before use. All risk is the assumed by the purchaser and is implicit in your purchase. Price is firm. Bulb is not included (too hard to ship).
