A very large corner notched dovetail flint point that bears an old sticker indicating that it was collected in Fletcher County, Kentucky in 1965. The point also has some numbers that may be accession numbers. Condition seems very good with some clear signs of surface patina (additional photos on request). Stone is a jet black flint. No noted defects. This point was made between 4500-3000 BC. Authenticity is guaranteed. Dimensions: 7.5" x 2" Provenance passed to me from prior owner, Stan Craig. From the estate of Gerry Sheirbon (deceased) in Oregon. Gerry got it at the Tucson Rock Show about 20 years ago.
