This superbly detailed Japanese polychrome woodcut pair was produced in the mid-20th century on Japanese laid paper, and was produced by Sadanobu Hasegawa III (a Japanese Asian Modern & Contemporary artist who was born in 1881). It depicts Maiko in two of the four seasons, the series called "Maiko in the Four Seasons of Kyoto". This is 'Spring' and 'Winter' by Sadanobu Hasegawa III.
Dimensions: 14 1/4 x 9 9/16" (image size)
Condition is excellent for color and detail with some minor toning consistent with age. No oxidation of the matte is noted. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
