Edward VII 1908 Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall Set of Two (2) Sterling Silver Weighted 18" Three Light Candelabras from Sheffield - England
$1,000.00
Hallmarked in Sheffield, England in 1908 by Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall , this impressive matching pair of three-light antique sterling silver candlesticks stands quite proudly on the dining table. This matched set is highly decorative, standing on square bases and featuring removable bobeches and the entire upper half can be removed for storage and easy cleaning. Each candlestick measures 5" x 17" x 18" and they have been filled inside the bases for balance.
These are marked with maker mark and Sheffield city mark, lion passant for sterling, and the q date letter mark. All pieces appear present and original. Overall condition is good but there is a repair at one arm (shown), and there are some subtle cracks in bobeches etc. Sturdy and heavy with a fine finish. Remember to always brace arms of candelabras like this when replacing the sticks.
