Ca 1850 Prisca Levan Mannerback Coin Silver Teaspoon Pair Redding, PA

A superb pair of Redding, PA coin silver fiddleback teaspoons made by known maker, Prisca Levan Mannerback (1808-1871). He inhabited the town of Redding and was a silversmith there, second of a line of three. These simple spoons typify the time period. Neatly made, and stamped with a small font "L. Mannerback" and 'REDDING'. A plain cartouche. These spoons are in very good condition given the age with nominal wear, surface scratches and overall patina. Overall, rare pieces by a rare maker.
