Ca 1824-40 American Coin Silver Silver Tablespoon Pair by John C Farr of Philadelphia
$180.00
A fine pair of tablespoons retailed in Phildelphia between 1824-40 by John C. Farr. These are in very good condition. These tablespoons are personalized in period script with 'A. Bustard' at the terminals. The marks for John C Farr are extremely clean on these and they are each marked. Really a great example of the mark! Plenty of life left in these spoons. Light surface scratches, but no other damage noted. Some stubborn tarnish. Very nice gauge of silver and well constructed.
The spoons are engraved with the name 'A. Bustard'. From my research, I believe these likely belonged to Anna Bustard.
Length is: ~9"
Weight is: 117 grams
