Gorgeous intact first edition printed by Camden Press, illustrated by the famous Brothers Dalziel. This edition contains 200+ illustrations of Victorian artists Arthur Boyd Houghton, John Gilbert, Thomas Dalzeil, John Everett Millais, John Tenniel and George John Pinwell. Gilt endpapers. Charming period inscription to a young girl.
Condition is good as shown and is commensurate with age and use. Some binding separation at the top reaches between front cover and spine. Slight foxing. Nonetheless, very handsome on the shelf and great provenance.
