Offered here is a stunning Italian figural silver pheasant handled gravy by famed Florentine (Firenze) maker, Pampaloni. This piece is typical of the figural work of brothers Francesca and Gianfranco Pampaloni with its highly detailed portrayal of the head and shoulders of a pheasant used as the handle for a large gravy. Additional details on the base. Stamped with the Pampaloni touchmark, 800, and a couple of other small hallmarks. Condition is mint. The Pampaloni factory is located right on the outskirts of Florence Italy, it has been a fully-operating factory since 1904 and is the home to three generations of craftsmen silversmiths. 405 grams. About 7.5" at the widest, 5.75" tall, and 3.75" wide.
