1951 Hand Embroidered Grey Linen Tablecloth (48x64) and 8 Napkins

She told me that she and her mother hand embroidered these linen tablecloths in 1951 in New York City. They would sit in the apartment and do it. "It was something we liked to do back then". She cared for it well in the ensuing decades until now when the time has come for her to let it go-- to let everything go. Gorgeous grey with embellishments. Condition seems about perfect. 8 matching napkins included. What a labor of love.
