Spectacular hand wrought solid sterling silver bread basket in very good condition. This heavy Mexico City made two handled basket is decorated in classic Mexican style. A fancy rim and heavy cast feet are the highlights. the interior has scalloped walls, just perfect for sliced bread or rolls. It is lovely, and of course, very heavy gauge. Intended as an heirloom to last for generations to come for their special meals. This item is perfectly sized to accommodate bread, but could be lovely on a console all by itself as decor. You could use it as a centerpiece for flowers. Versatile. Condition is outstanding with minor scuffs at the bottom from use. No bends, cracks, dings, or other apparent damage. Finish is brilliant.
