A 1949 oil on canvas board cityscape of NYC on 42nd Ave at the public library in a snowstorm. This landscape signed lower left by Sibley shoes the cabs and buses in front of the library with passersby and their umbrellas. In front of the library are the lion statues as well as the American and New York flags. There are American flags lining 42nd as well. Painting is well executed and seems to be from the circle of or after Guy Carleton Wiggins.
Dimensions are 18" x 24" (unframed).
Condition is fair. There is evidence of water damage, cracking as shown, etc.
