1930 Tulip Lamp with Arts and Crafts Slag Glass Shade

$1,800.00
This early cast iron and spelter lamp is radiant. A lovely bronze patina on all the metal. Handblown glass in the shade mounted into a filigree metal frame that appears to be in great condition. The base is composed of heavy cast iron at the bottom and molded spelter running up the stem. Overall, this lamp is heavy and significant. The maker of neither the lamp nor shade has been identified. Shade is not original to base. Apparently unmarked. This would look amazing in almost any type of traditional home or office. Difficult to find early pieces in this condition. It casts the most mellow lovely glow at night. Feel free to ask questions or to make an offer. Additional photos available upon request. Holds two bulbs in new sockets with two pull chains. Recently rewired professionally and should last a lifetime. Height: 25" Check out some of my other antiques: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=search_shop_redirect§ion_id=6783279 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
