1930 Chinese Export Silver Butterfly Double Sweetmeat Dish or Caviar Dish

$750.00
Conservatively made in the 1930's, this serving dish by Kwan Wo takes the form of two large Chinese natural pinctada shells that form glistening wings to the silver body that takes the form of the butterfly’s abdomen and head. All in, it is elevated upon six silver legs. Condition is very good for how fragile this is with one small loss on one wing, and a possible small loss of a silver wire at the nose. Nicely and clearly marked. This would be excellent for serving caviar! Highly competitive offers considered.
