A spectacular late impressionist Belgian 1926 coastal scene of many colored boats at harbor. Copper engraving hand inked and hand painted in a limited edition and signed by the artist Julien van Santen. Printed on heavy fiber paper of the first quality with a distinct impression from the stone. Signed in pencil at bottom right and also numbered '60'. The faded gilt wood frame (not shown) is original to the piece as is the glass (will ship framed, but frame and glass are not considered part of the sale due to possible breakage in shipping. Dimensions: 24.5" x 29.75". Condition is fair with foxing and oxidation.
