1900-1925 Japanese Export Hammered Silver Dragon Box (~187 grams)

c. 1900-1925 Japanese export double walled silver box made by an unidentified silversmith. In excellent condition with some slight signs of age and use, but really in excellent shape (a subtle bruise noted on the lid). Made of a medium gauge of silver, the box is decorated with a ferocious three-toed dragon in repousse. The lid is nicely fitting. Marked clearly on the bottom 'STERLING'. Interior is gloss. Gorgeous!
