1890-1910 Frank Walter Lawrence Sterling Silver Arts and Crafts Lobed Tulip Bowl 5.25" Lobed Bowl (217 grams)
$595.00
A scarce early Frank Walter Lawrence ca 1890-1910 fine hammered eight-lobed sterling silver bowl. A beautiful hammered texture and hand-chased tulips between the lobes. Bowl is not personalized. The piece has echoes of Arthur Stone and it is known that both men would have been working in New York City during the years 1895-97. I suspect they would have known each other with their shared vision of Arts and Crafts silver. Overall, a highly original piece painstakingly handmade by a master silversmith in a classic example of the Arts and Crafts movement.
Total weight: 217 grams. Dimensions: 2" x 5.25". Condition is very good with some dings on the bottom and some small spots of dark patina.
