1890-1903 Edmond Tetard French 950 Sterling Silver Fork Set of Six (282 grams)

$285.00
1890-1903 Tetard Freres gorgeous 950 silver fork set made in their Rue Beranger shop in Paris. Recently recovered from a DC-area estate. Featuring scallops at the terminals and gorgeous backs to match. Monogrammed in a period script 'SES'. Variously marked with Minerva and the Tetard Freres maker mark. Overall construction is very heavy and stout and these will easily outlast you. They are somewhat narrower than a typical modern American dinner fork and so it's possible they were meant to be strawberry forks. Condition is very good. Dimensions: ~6.75" Check out some of my other French sterling silver hollowware here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP?ref=shop_sugg§ion_id=29377404 Or just browse around the shop! https://www.etsy.com/shop/DCSILVERSHOP
