A distinct and large sterling serving spoon by Tiffany & Co. in the Wave Edge pattern made in New York City 1884-91. Spoon has a garland of seaweed or kelp along the stem and then at the terminal, there is a wide fan shaped scallop front and back. The spoon bowl is wide and deep. Nicely stamped on the handle for 'TIFFANY & Co.' 'STERLING' and Pat. 1884 M'. Nice heavy gauge, but entirely elegant. Condition is near flawless with a beautiful patina. Monogrammed ('LR'). Directorship of Edward Moore.
