This is a rare and highly sought after chromolithograph by Cozzens, 1884, Scribners, Armstrong Production, New York. Full color representations of 64 different pennants set around a sailing vessel (Yolande). Signals of Yacht Clubs and International Code Flags. Plate XXVI from American Yachts, by Fredrick Cozzens. These are Code Signals, Night Signals and Club Signals. Though this image would look great displayed by any sailing enthusiast, it would be ideal for a Manhattan office, yacht club, or Hamptons or Nantucket home. Unframed, this piece is mounted on the original backing board with the original portfolio label. Could be conserved to new condition for about $100.
