Ca. 1890 Canton Chinese export sterling silver and glass insert Luen Wo salt cellar. A very desired form. Hallmarked with a Chinese LW mark and a Chinese mark. Condition is poor antique condition as it is missing a handle and the glass is chippy at the rim. Nonetheless, a charming item with Chinese characters indicating good luck.
