1868 Russian Silver Salt Cellar 875 or 84 Zolotniki Silver Victor Savinsky Moscow Assay

Hard to find antique Russian salt cellar in the kettle form in sterling silver (more precisely 84 zolotniki silver = 84/96 or 875 parts/1000 parts = 87.5% silver). At the time, 875 silver was Russia's fine silver standard. This piece is handsomely engraved (hand chased) with a plain rim and sits flat on three ball feet. Just splendid. Perfectly sized for a kettle full of salt!
Moscow, Russia Kokoshnik mark is present and clear for the Assayer Victor Savinsky and an unidentified cyrillic maker's mark. Condition is basically very good but feet are slightly pushed in, small dings etc.. No cracks and wear seems appropriate to age. No monogram.
Weight: 33 grams.
Dimensions: 1.25+" tall and 2" wide
