1860 Art Nouveau 10K Gold Brooch

This is a fine 10K gold civil war era brooch. At one time, this belonged to a larger necklace and it has a hook where it attached to the necklace. It now has a stick pin and can be worn as a brooch. Very nicely hand engraved with tulip and dogwood blossoms. The color is good with appropriate patina. It has an unsightly solder repair on the back and a cole of areas where the gold is minutely torn. No blemish is obvious from the front. Weight is 6.0 grams. Gold has been acid tested and is guaranteed to be 10K. Dimensions: 6 mm x 33 mm x 44 mm (0.2" x 1.3" x 1.75")
