This Circa 1860 probably Hoorn, Netherlands stunning knife was likely a personal eating utensil meant for travel or in the field. It is richly adorned with goddesses and birds, and a dog finial. The silver chape and throat are also neatly engraved with flowers. The sheath is a gorgeous sage green and in great condition. All of the silver parts are marked. The steel blade also marked with symbols-- not known to me. Condition is very good on this rare knife.
