1850-74 Coin Silver Baltimore Teaspoon by Joseph H Reipe

Not much is known about Reipe, but he is listed in the craftsman file as having had a partnership as a Baltimore jeweler in 1874 with H F Letmate and this is referenced in Goldsborough's Silver in Maryland (1983). The subject teaspoon is in nice condition and has lovely hand chased engraving. Surely rare as no other examples could be identified Simply marked 'REIPE'.
