1840 Teaspoon Pair by Ivory Hall of Concord, NH (Converse Family Silver)

1840 American coin silver teaspoon pair, in a fiddle tipt pattern by R. T & Co, marked 'coin', 'premium' and inscribed in ornate, period script on the handles: 'Converse'. The R. T. & Co mark is associated with Ivory Hall of Concord, New Hampshire. These spoons were hand made in the 19th century of sterling silver. Condition is good with minor patina and surface scratching that is typical of a piece of this age. Strong in all the right places and great lines!
