1840 Philadelphia Coin Silver Teaspoon by Henry J Pepper (24 grams)

Offered here is a c. 1840 con silver teaspoon by Irish-American silversmith H J Pepper of Philadelphia. Pepper worked in Delaware in the early part of his career, but the shape of this spoon suggests that this one was made from his later Philadelphia years. Very good condition. Monogrammed in a period script for 'WES'. Recently recovered by a picker from Western Europe!
