Outstanding example of the fine quality of American (Cincinatti) silversmithing. This rare mustard fiddle spoon is hand forged with a traditional old English profile. Monogrammed 'EEY' in faint fancy script. The hallmarks are particularly crisp for early 1800s, Wm R. and pseudo hallmarks. Overall condition is good with typical minor wear from use as shown. No notable damage given 200+ years of use.
13.5 grams. 5.25" in lrngth.
