An 1836 English sterling silver meat fork, made by an unidentified silversmith. Length is 7 7/8" and is of a very heavy gauge. 50 grams. Condition is overall good, but the maker mark has been effaced. This piece is emblazoned with a beautiful heralding grouping of five tilted lances.
