1833 Exeter Sterling Silver Parcel Gilt Berry Spoon by John Osment
$140.00
This handsome William IV sterling silver tablespoon with impressed berries and parcel gilt has the nice and less common Exeter hallmark and maker mark for John Osment. Unmonogrammed but with nice stamp work also on the terminal of flower swag. Condition is good. Mostly offered as an example of Osment's mark and work and an example of provincial English silver.
41 grams on the spoon. A little over 8.25" on the spoon, so bigger than a soup spoon, but smaller than a basting spoon.
