Classic American teaspoon by Green Hall and John D Hewson of Albany, NY in the fiddle tipt pattern. Probably made around 1833-1844. Nicely engraved "CE" in a fancy script. Downturned terminal. Marked with the pseudomarks of bust, D, Eagle [Reference: McGrew]. Also marked with the retailer mark of 'Geo. A. Hoyt'. Retailed by George A. Hoyt.
