Outstanding example of the fine quality of English silversmithing of the mid-Georgian era. This set includes six (3) elegant small (5.5") teaspoons that are hand forged from a heavy gauge of silver with a sleek profile and downturned terminals. Handsomely monogrammed with a fancy Georgian monogram ('JAW'). The hallmarks are crisp for London, 1812, sterling, Thomas Dicks and WE and two different tally marks as well. Certainly among the finest English spoons I can offer. Condition is outstanding with typical fine surface scratches commensurate with age and use. One minor dint in the bowl of one, but no major bends, breaks, dints, or repairs.
