These two related Boston coin silver spoons by Fletcher & Gardiner of Boston feature sleek design and an early profile with an elegant engraved period monogram 'C' on the handles surrounded by bright cut accents. Made by the Boston silversmiths, Thomas Charles Fletcher and Sydney Gardiner. Each is well marked for F&G in a rectangular cartouche. Patina and satin finish are perfect and not overpolished. Very conservatively, there are typical signs of use commensurate with age, subtle areas of dark patina, wear to some mark, and exceedingly minor dints.
