Nice early 1803-1818 tablespoon by Samuel Richards of Philadelphia. This spoon is monogrammed in period script with 'RL' at the slightly downturned terminal. The mark S Richards in a plain rectangular cartouche is clean. Very nice gauge of silver and well constructed early fiddleback spoon.
