A transitional coffin end coin silver tablespoon by Boston maker, William Homes Jr. Mark on this is a worn WH in a cartouche [Reference: Kane]. Monogrammed 'BPB'. Condition is very poor with a lot of right handed wear of the bowl, nonetheless it is representative of a great era of boston silversmithing. Gauge is fairly light, especially in the bowl.
