1780-1810 Philadelphia Daniel Dupuy of Redding and Philadelphia Coin Silver Sugar Tongs Active

Offered here is a coin silver pair of sugar tongs with a classic late 1700s Philadelphia or Redding PA profile. Marked D Dupuy in Roman Capitals in a block cartouche on the stem back and with a period monogram 'WCT'. Gorgeous! Roughly 6" and 31.1 grams. Condition is good but with an early make-do repair where the bowl meets the stem. Perhaps the only known example of a ladle by Daniel Dupuy.
