Offered here is a silver punch or toddy ladle with a classic late 1700s Philadelphia profile. Marked D Dupuy in a fitted cartouche on the stem back and with a period monogram 'D'. Gorgeous! Roughly 13.5" and 165 grams. Condition is good but with an early make-do repair where the bowl meets the stem. Perhaps the only known example of a ladle by Daniel Dupuy Sr.
Ref: Hollan - Philadelphia Silversmiths, p. 62, 1st mark as well as on the cover. Perfect patina.
