Not much is known of Essex or Plymouth County silversmith, N Bartlett, but his mark of N.B in a rectangular cartouche is described in Kane (p 177). This is a nice example with wriggle work decoration on the front and near the bowl on the back. Condition is very good. Monogrammed R:B.
