Uniplat pattern with a classic French profile and a very heavy gauge. Guarantee mark for Lille, 1763-65, and maker mark. Personalized with MD under a crown ranked for a Count or Earl. Weight is 828 grams. 8 1/8" (fork). Rare maker. Condition is very good. Repairs to fork tines (subtle).
