Exceptional 1755-60 solid coin silver tablespoon by Jacob Boelen of New York. This spoon has all the classic characteristics, and is clearly marked with Boelen's conjoined IB mark twice [Reference: Winterthur]. A nice heavy gauge spoon. Upturned terminal and a full mid-rib spine. Condition is extraordinary. Original Dutch New York owner monogram of conjoined VD/C:F. A scarce and important maker.
