A finely parcel gilt large soup ladle by Gottfried Bartermann, made in the mid-18th century in Augsburg, Germany in the Rococo taste. Condition is truly outstanding with no flaws and a perfect surface. Decorated front and back and with strong gilding. Perfect mate for an 18th century Augsburg punch bowl or soup tureen. Marked with the 'GB' maker mark and the Augsburg pinecone and 'K' for 1751. Small very small crab mark indicates possible import into France at some point. No personalizations or removals.
