Scarce 1750 small tablespoon by George Ridout of New York City, NY. Plain design of a more austere age and made in a good heavy gauge of silver. Note the fabulous drop on the spoon. Marriage monogram 'S B*E'' in period Roman letters. Condition is very good with age-related patina and wear including slight edge wear. A good example of Ridout's 'GR' mark. Collected by Winterthur Museum.
Length is: 6 7/8"
