1750-75 Thomas Hammersley of New York Silver Teaspoon

A rare 1750-60 solid teaspoon by Thomas Hammersley of New York monogrammed M*C. This spoon has all the classic characteristics, and is clearly marked with Hammersley's 'TH' in a rectangular cartouche. A nice heavy gauge spoon. Slightly upturned terminal, slight spine down the stem, and elongated oval bowl. Condition is good with a ding in the bowl and some scratches and right handed bowl wear. Hammersley's work is collected by Yale among others.
