1690 English Sterling Silver Trefid Tablespoon with Beaded Rattail
$2,100.00
A scarce 1690 solid sterling silver English trefid tablespoon with a beaded rattail. This spoon has all the classic characteristics, but with rubbed marks. The maker mark has a clear 'S', but can't be determined. Marks are clear enough to determine London with a clear enough crowned leopard. Owner's marks of *A* over S*C. Rattail shows wear. Nonetheless, a nice heavy gauge spoon. Slight upturn of the terminal. Condition is fair with a lot of honest wear on the bowl and terminal, dents, bends, and scratches. Nonetheless, a scarce and exceedingly rare form in this large size.
Weight: 59 grams
Length: 7.75"
